Phippen '08 Turned Out Great!

The Phippen Museum put on a great show and it proved to be a successful one for me! I met some truly great artists and many wonderful people. We ended up selling eleven paintings and I even survived the quickdraw event! I say "we" because none of this would have been possible without the help of my family and friends. I'll post more details and photos when I get the time, but now I need to do some painting and meet some show deadlines.

Top: It rained some on the first day, but the booth looked good and it held up fine.
Middle: About mid way throught the quickdraw.
Bottom: The painting from 45 minute quickdraw ("Final Light" 16x16 o/p).

Hi Bill,
Wow! Your work looks excellent framed and hung up in the booth! (actually, everyone of your pieces on your blog looks great). Good to hear the news of the sales at the show. That always makes the effort of setting up worthwhile.
I know you mentioned trying to get all of these new pieces finished for the upcoming show and I'm glad I dropped by your blog to see the end result of all of that hard work. Very cool setup you have there too.
Congratulations on the sales Bill! Nice going.
