The landscape paintings I create are an expression of my lifelong enjoyment of nature. When I'm not painting I'm usually out rock climbing or trail running. These trips often result in new ideas and refrences for future works. I enjoy plein air painting, but believe that time in the studio is equally important. This is in addition to my favorite job as a "stay-at-home" dad. This blog will focus on the art with references to the outdoor and family experiences to which it is intimately tied.

These are something for me to aspire to. The subject matter is what I am trying to work on after my recent trip. Love them.
Yeah Mick, the desert attracts many an artist. Unique forms, color & light in abundance - what's not to like! Endless possibilities!
Reason I am not commenting is because I'm speechless!
Great work, Bill!
Nice compliment, Mohan. Thank you.
I was just scrolling through and this one caught my eye, the ruins in the cave. Unusual image. I really like it.
