Here are some shots from this years Phippen Show. It was good to hang out again with the artists and friends that frequent this event, and we made some new friends, too! We sold paintings, survived another quick draw and basically had a blast. The painting above is my 45 minute quick draw of Cathedral Rocks entitled Sedona Moon (16x20). Not a great photo, the sky and clouds are a bit darker.

45 minutes!! Brilliant. You've not only captured the wonderful colour but the beautiful shadows created by the fabulous light.
Hope your sales went well, the display is impressive.
Great work for 45 minutes! Love the spontaneity and the bravura.

Wow!
Did you have all your colors all ready mixed up and good to go?
Thanks all! Steve, I start with my usual colors and a blank palette and panel. I don't premix elsewhere so why do it here. It would probably screw me up!
Great quick draw! You moved a lot in 45 minutes.
Enjoyed the booth shots, too. Looks like a really good time was had by all.
