Gallery News

I guess I'm a local now. I've been picked up by the Ian Russell Gallery here in Prescott! Ian's got a great thing going right in the middle of Prescott's historic Whiskey Row on Montezuma Street. The gallery has an amazing collection of paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry and just about anything else you can think of. Get into town, hit the bars and then go buy some art!

The following may be a bit of old news to many, but the Windrush Gallery in Sedona has gone out of business. I truly enjoyed my association with the gallery owners and was sorry to see it close. It's sad to see any good business permanently close its doors - especially an art gallery! It's been said that when one door closes another one opens and that's exactly what happened. Within days of hearing about the Windrush closing I was invited to show my work at the Mountain Trails Galleries in Sedona's scenic Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village! I'm very pleased and excited to be in this well known Sedona gallery. From the gallery website: "Mountain Trails Galleries is located in beautiful Sedona, Arizona in historic Tlaquepaque. Renowned for its reputation for fine art, Mountain Trails Galleries prides itself in representing many of the Southwest's most coveted sculptors and painters." It's a terrific gallery, stop by and check it out! (PS The above painting, Reflections - Cathedral Rocks 16x20, is available at the gallery...)
