Grand Canyon!

Home from the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art Plein Air 2014. It was an incredible week of good times, good friends and perfect weather! We painted hard all week and produced a show with over 400 paintings! The money raised will help pay for a permanent art and artifact museum at the south rim. Attendance and sales opening night were good and somehow I picked up the Artist's Choice Award for the show! Thanks to all the GCA members and park staff who helped make this show possible!!
My dad and brother were there to share in the fun.

A few of my plein airs and studio piece.

Fellow artist Hai-Ou Hou bought my quick draw painting!

Bye and thanks again Grand Canyon!

Tempe Festival of the Arts
The fall Tempe Festival of the Arts is a really fun event. It's a good time to be in the lower Arizona deserts after the summer heat is long gone and people are happy to be outside. I’ll have a booth filled with new paintings! A portion of the proceeds raised at the Festival benefits local Tempe charities. Look for me at the corner of 5th and Mill near the Starbucks.
December 5, 6 and 7, 2014
Tempe, AZ.

This promises to be a busy, productive and amazing series of events!
I hope to see soon!
